July 25 – Exploration of Growth and Change
with Sandra Gaskill.  Would you like to explore what encourages, supports and facilitates personal growth and internal change? Or what holds you in the old, familiar, often painful habits? Would you like to understand what helps other people sustain the changes they've worked so hard to manifest? How do life circumstances, unconditional love, abandonment, trauma, past lives, etc. impact ability to grow. We will look at times we've been able to change and at the annoying habits of mind and behavior that hold us back. This is an on-going exploration for me in my personal and professional lives. Come share with the group what motivates and blocks you, what helps you to sustain growth in some areas, but not in others. Sandra Gaskill is a body-centered psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner, and nature photographer.

August 8 – The Transformational Power of Voice
with Kristina Sophia. Join us on this supportive, self-empowering journey as we connect to the divine through sound and singing. Enliven, energize and awaken your body, mind and soul. Through this guided process we raise our vibrational frequencies and are able to see clearly the course of action that is most appropriate for us now at this point in our lives. Kristina, an internationally recognized singer, and musical ambassador, has performed world-wide with her husband Cameron Powers, including a performance in Cairo for 60,000 Egyptians, and performances on the streets of Baghdad to protest the US invasion. She is co-creator of Musical Missions of Peace 501c3 and has led sound healing and vocal workshops for the past 15 years.

with Tajali Tolan. Children' Global Peace Project is an International Peace program for students K-12. August 22 – Have As Many Maps As You Can – Hold Them All Lightly
with Matthew Middendorf. A map is a paradigm for looking at reality.  Some examples of a map would be: any religion, Quantum Physics, a psychotherapy technique, even a map of planet earth.  We will discuss how maps help us to see reality and how they sometimes obscure reality, and why that is.  We will explore why some maps that we perceive as erroneous make us upset or reactive.  We will explore a point of view proposed by Ken Wilber called Integral Thinking. Matthew majored in physics in college and was an electronics engineer in a previous life.  Currently his favorite hobbies are songwriting, spirituality and nature.  Matthew will sing a couple of his songs to humorously illustrate his topic.

August 29 – Bring Your Soul to Work!
with Kurt Walberg. Often the tension between soul and role creates dissonance and dissatisfaction with both who one "is" and what one "does."  This can be particularly so in the service professions - teaching, nursing, lawyering and ministering - where situational / institutional demands can overtake the initial inspiration for choosing that work.  How to bridge that gap and live divided no more? Processes drawn from Quaker practices and using poetry as metaphor can create a safe place for one's inner guide to speak.  Join Kado! in a presentation drawn from the "Courage to Lead" seminars. Kado! - Kurt Walberg’s journey to wholeness involves peace dancing, practicing law, men’s work, hiking and skiing.  The "Courage to Lead" seminars are based on Parker Palmer’s work, including "A Hidden Wholeness."
